Roxtar has been around since 2004 in one form or another. Friendships and band members have come and gone, but one thing that has always stayed the same is great music and a great live show. The band has won many battle of the band competitions over the years including the Walworth county fair battle 2004, The Back Bar battle 2007, and making it to the finals of the Emergenza festival 2006.
Roxtar mixes a wide variety of music into their shows with everything from Megadeth to Britney Spears. You can't come to a Roxtar show and not have fun.
The band is currently adding more songs to the list, including a few new originals.
This March (7th) Roxtar will be opening for Days of the New at the Back Bar in Janesville.
Roxtar also plays under the guise of the Back Bar house band -The Back Bar Band- where every Thursday night the stage is open for any musician or full band to come out and play.
The drummer better be happy this is done now :)
